What do you need manufactured?

Whether you already have a CAD file or only an idea, we'll help you figure out the next step.

A Canadian source

Reduce dependence on long, inflexible supply chains for eligible low-volume parts.

Built for repeat purchasing

Support ongoing replenishment after a part has been approved and validated.

Application-driven materials

Assess engineering polymers and reinforced composites against real operating conditions.

How we can help

Manufacturing tailored to your project.

Replacement Parts & Consumables

Evaluate local production of recurring plastic consumables, wear components, custom guides, protective parts and imported replacements.

Metal-to-Composite Conversion

Identify machined aluminum parts that could be redesigned with suitable engineering polymers and fiber-reinforced composites.

Contract & Repeat Manufacturing

Low-volume and recurring production for equipment manufacturers, commercial installers and product companies.

CAD & Product Development

Reverse engineering, design, prototyping and preparation for validated production parts.

Priority service 01

Replacement consumables, made closer to home.

Already buying plastic parts that wear out, get lost or need regular replacement? We can assess whether local additive manufacturing is a practical alternate source.

Examples we can evaluate

  • Conveyor guides and changeover aids
  • Replaceable wear pads and liners
  • Protective covers and end caps
  • Equipment spacers and mounting pieces
  • Automation gripper contact surfaces
  • Machine-specific organizers and fixtures

Priority service 02

Does this aluminum part need to be metal?

Select machined components may be candidates for a purpose-designed engineering polymer or fiber-reinforced replacement. We evaluate application, loading and life-cycle needs before recommending a path.

Potential applications to review

  • Light-duty mounting brackets
  • Equipment housings and covers
  • Sensor and electronics mounts
  • Robot end-effector structures
  • Custom tooling supports
  • Low-load specialty components

No guaranteed savings or drop-in structural equivalence. Fatigue, creep, impact, temperature, chemical exposure, tolerances and applicable safety requirements govern feasibility.

Manufacturing capabilities

Functional FDM 3D printing for industrial parts and small-batch production.

Our Sherwood Park workshop focuses on practical polymer components for equipment, maintenance and manufacturing applications. Experience with precision machining and industrial maintenance informs how we review part fit, tolerances and service conditions. Every new application is evaluated rather than assumed to be suitable for 3D printing.

Processes & volumes

Fused deposition modelling (FDM), prototypes, custom fixtures, low-volume batches and repeat-production candidates. Actual capacity and lead time are confirmed when quoting.

Materials we use

Functional PETG and ABS-GF (glass-fibre-reinforced ABS) are part of our work. Additional engineering polymers are reviewed for availability and suitability; no universal material performance is promised.

Design & part evaluation

CAD design, application-driven redesign and review of dimensions, loads, heat, UV exposure, chemicals, wear, assembly and operating tolerances.

Repeat supply & replacement parts

Potential applications include equipment guides, protective covers, sensor mounts, changeover components, spacers and recurring plastic consumables that can be validated for their intended use.

Not every machined or moulded component should be 3D printed. Safety-critical, high-load or regulated uses require appropriate professional engineering and validation.

Already buying this part?

Could a local alternative make more sense?

Share a part you currently purchase, its cost, your annual usage and supply challenges. We'll evaluate the potential for additive manufacturing and discuss next steps.

Our evaluation process

  1. Understand the application and requirements
  2. Compare materials, costs and manufacturing options
  3. Prototype and validate the proposed component
  4. Set up replenishment or repeat manufacturing

Plastic is not a universal replacement for metal. Service life, temperature, loads, tolerances, chemicals and applicable safety requirements must be checked before substitution.

Designed for organizations that need a reliable parts source.

We work with commercial buyers who know what the part must do and want a practical manufacturing partner. The strongest projects have repeat demand, a defined operating environment and a real sourcing or cost problem to solve.

A good fit may include

  • Equipment manufacturers and OEM product teams
  • Commercial installers with recurring specialty parts
  • Industrial maintenance and operations buyers
  • Automation and electronics equipment businesses
  • Agricultural and material-handling equipment suppliers

Questions from industrial buyers

Industrial 3D printing and replacement parts: frequently asked questions

From Edmonton-area maintenance teams to Canadian OEM buyers, these are the details worth checking before choosing a manufacturing process.

Can you make industrial replacement parts in Edmonton?

Country Nut Creations manufactures in Sherwood Park, near Edmonton. We assess replacement plastic parts, wear components, guards, guides and fixtures for businesses in the Edmonton region and across Canada. Suitability depends on the part and its operating conditions.

Can 3D printing replace a machined aluminum part?

Sometimes. A polymer or reinforced-composite redesign may work for suitable covers, mounting parts, fixtures and other applications, but it is not a drop-in substitute for metal. Loads, creep, temperature, fatigue, chemicals, tolerances and safety requirements must be evaluated before using a replacement.

Do you offer small batches and repeat production?

Yes, we assess prototypes, low-volume production runs and repeat replenishment. We review the geometry, material, quantity, inspection needs and production schedule before confirming pricing and capacity.

What materials do you use for functional 3D-printed parts?

Our FDM work includes PETG and glass-fibre-reinforced ABS (ABS-GF). Other engineering polymers and reinforcements can be considered based on actual material availability, the application and testing needs. We do not assume a printed part matches an injection-moulded or machined material grade.

Do I need a CAD file or drawing to request a quote?

No. Start with a description of your idea, replacement part or planned production run. If you have an STL or CAD model, you can optionally attach it to your quote request using private file upload. Larger files and photos can be discussed directly after the first inquiry.

How are industrial 3D-printing quotes evaluated?

We start with the operating requirements and how many parts you need. We then discuss suitable materials, design changes, prototypes, inspection expectations and the trade-offs compared with your current process. Final price and lead time are project-specific.
