"If you have a tow hitch, but don't want it stolen, but hate it rolling around in the box of the truck, this solved the problem. Get yourself one."
"Perfect solution for organizing those shin-breakers in your truck box. The design holds the ball hitch securely, loose enough to slide in smoothly, but snug enough that it doesn't rattle around. It also features well-thought-out openings for hitch pins and clevis pins, which is a huge bonus. For short and medium box lengths, you'll likely need a few washers to space the organizer away from the box forms. Long boxes shouldn't have this issue. The ABS-GF material feels solid and durable, with great resistance to weather and temperature swings. I'm looking forward to seeing how it stands up to northern Alberta's hot summers and harsh winters. Excellent design, great customer service, and incredibly fast shipping."
Installation Note: Spacer washers may be required behind the mount depending on the contour of your truck box surface. If washers are added, longer self-tapping screws may be needed to ensure secure installation. Do not overtighten screws — excessive torque may crack the plastic.
Quick and easy — under 5 minutes. You'll need: a drill, a 5/16" driver bit, and an extension.
Locate Your Mounting Spot
Hold the organizer against the side wall of your truck box, beside the wheel well. Important: mount it low enough so the butt of the hitch rests on the bed of your truck — the mount is not designed to carry the full weight of the hitch. Mark the 4 mounting hole locations with a marker or pencil.
Fasten the Mount
Using the included self-tapping screws, a 5/16" driver bit, and an extension on your drill, fasten the mount directly to the side wall of your truck box at the marked locations.
Confirm It's Secure
Give the mount a firm tug to make sure all screws are tight and it's solidly attached to the wall before loading your hitches.
Load Your Hitches
Slide both hitches into the slots. They should fit snugly and stay put while driving.
